Centre receives ISO 13485 Medical Devices Quality Management Certification

We are proud to announce that the Centre has been certified by BSI to ISO 13485 Medical Devices Quality Management System.  The scope of the certificate is specific to the “Design, development of software systems, mobile applications, hardware and prototyping.”

The certification comes as a result of the Centre’s consistent commitment to quality.  The certificate is specific to the work of the Centre’s Personal Health Information Technology (PHIT) team, which develops technology innovations, such as mobile apps, software systems and hardware prototype to improve patient healthcare and quality-of-life. PHIT is involved in every aspect of the technology’s product cycle, from gathering user requirements, designing and developing prototypes, to conducting evaluations and trials.
