Describe where you are are from. What did it look, smell, taste, sound like?

I grew up just outside Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, prior to its booming tourism and business industry.

Why do you do what you do? What motivates you to get up every morning and come to work?

I’m very proud of the work everyone at the Centre does. I love my job as it supports this innovative and revolutionary work. It’s what gets me up in the morning, and I’m not a morning person, at all!

Books, theatre and the outdoors
