I grew up in Malton – a small community near Pearson airport. It was home to the Avro Arrow Aircraft plant before its heated and controversial cancellation. Now, few people have heard of Malton’s existence. Due to its proximity to the airport, many recent immigrant families choose to make it their home. My parents moved there in the late 1960’s, and never left!
