iCanCope with Pain is an Android and iOS app that provides a pain self-management program for adolescents and young adults with pain related illnesses such as chronic pain and arthritis.
With an interactive diary, users can track pain and related symptoms. To improve pain and functioning, users can set goals and learn pain coping strategies. An in-app community also allows users to gain social support with peers.
The project is currently in development in collaboration with the Hospital for Sick Children. The aim is provide evidence-based knowledge and strategies “in the moment” to help those with pain cope and self-manage.
