Summary

This project aims to develop a role-optimization protocol, an Internet based platform and policies for knowledge transfer and utilization that will assist adult chronic pain patients and their primary care team to provide timely and appropriate management of chronic pain.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to help a patient suffering from chronic pain to be able to secure good quality pain management in a reasonable time frame. We hope to accomplish this by helping the patient and their health team gain a better understanding of how to manage chronic pain by using internet-based tools that are designed with the help of specialists in the area of pain management.
